Current Concepts in Paediatric Orthopaedics & Trauma Symposium has been conceived as an event to cater to the needs of Orthopaedic Surgeons of all grades, from post graduate trainees to senior residents to consultants.  The program has been thoughtfully planned such that the delegate gets an opportunity to build on the basics in order to address the challenges of day to day clinical practice.  The Symposium is a national level meeting with faculty from all over India as well as international faculty from the USA.

The event has two components, firstly a day-long Masterclass on Paediatric Foot to be conducted by Professor Vincent Mosca from Seattle Children’s Hospital.  Dr Mosca is one of the foremost authorities on Paediatric Foot and is a regular faculty at major international academic events.  His book ‘Principles and Management of Paediatric Foot and Ankle Deformities and Malformations’ is the single most authoritative text on the subject.  All aspects of foot and ankle pathologies in the growing child would be covered during the Masterclass.

The second component is a Symposium on Paediatric Trauma, which would aim to address the challenges and dilemmas encountered in day to day practice,  based on current evidence and best standards of care.  Orthopaedic surgeons of all grades would benefit from this day-long event, where a substantial amount of time has been allocated to interactive case based discussions.  Renowned faculty have been drawn up from all over the country to share their expertise.
